YouthGrow 

We seek to empower the community and inspire learning through our vertical
hydroponic & aeroponic gardening projects. Our project will set up an indoor vertical
urban garden system that will be able to feed 1,000+ families based on yield
calculations. There is a severe lack of quality vegetables and fruits within a suitable
distance for many Detroit area residents(Food deserts). YouthGrow is a socially conscious
non-profit organization that is a hydroponic/aeroponic organic food producer and youth
education organization. The organization provides high quality produce to under-served
local communities while also providing work and leadership experience for local youth.
These organic produce will be cultivated using advanced hydroponics/aeroponics indoor
farming methods; this technique facilitates many socio-economic benefits including: the
ability to deal with the increasing global food challenges, teaching key science,
technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts to youth and young adults,
management and efficient utilization of natural resources.

Genius Hip Hop

Genius Hip-Hop is a collective of individuals that see the greatness in Hip-Hop. We support Progressive and Socially Conscious Hip-Hop Culture. Our mission is to highlight songs and talk about the positive aspects, cultural analysis, complex lyrics, use of language, in an entertaining way. Edu-Tainment at it’s DOPEST!
